Each treatment is individually tailored to achieve the best outcome for you and your dog whether this is ongoing maintenance, relaxation or rehabilitation from a soft tissue injury or Orthopaedic issue. This form of complementary therapy is not aimed at replacing Veterinary treatment it is more of an add on to your existing care. At the moment I am a mobile therapist providing home visits.

I aim to achieve tangible results in 1-3 sessions these being seven to ten days apart however if there is no improvement within this time frame I will refer you back to your Veterinary Surgeon for further investigation.

Initial Consultation lasts approximately: 1.5 hours £35.00

The consultation will include:

  • Gait analysis
  • Posture analysis
  • Full superficial body palpation helping to identify areas of pain and or injury
  • Full consultation discussing diet, lifestyle, medical history
  • Approximately 45 minute clinical canine massage

I will then help you with a home care plan and discuss with you what may be causing or exacerbating the issue(s) presented so your dog reaps the long term benefits.

Subsequent consultations last approximately: 1 hour £30.00

Review of progress and home care plan

Approximately: 40 minutes clinical canine massage

Once the initial treatment(s) have finished I will then send your Veterinary Surgeon a full report where necessary and under some circumstances should your dog not be suitable for clinical canine massage therapy then I will also inform your Veterinary Surgeon.

Please note:

At all times I adhere to the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the Exemption Order 2015 therefore I will need your Veterinary Surgeon to sign a consent form giving me their signed permission prior to clinical canine massage therapy without this unfortunately I cannot treat your dog.

Whilst I appreciate that there may be times when a treatment needs be cancelled please could you give me with 24 hours’ notice as late cancellation may still result in a full consultation charge.

You will also need to download, complete and return our consent form before we can proceed with any treatments. The consent form can be downloaded here.
